This is my grandmother, she is just a couple years shy of 100 years old and still a real sharp firecracker.

She visited us last year and I showed her around, then just had to show her the aura video system.

*Gram going, uh-huh.*

*Then she really starts to get into it.*

*Gram's Aura*

Her aura is small and her colors are elfin--just like her, of course.

Bright yellow Solar Plexus and large Third Eye - Gram knows exactly what is going on, don’t let her fool you. Smart, and knowing a heck of a lot more than those around her (besides myself) suspect.

Her Throat Chakra is large and bright - she tells you exactly what she thinks of something, no holds barred.

Example:

While we were talking together during her last visit, she says, “I think I made your sister’s husband mad at me.”

M: “What did you do?”

G: “They came to visit me with the kids. He’s bald. So I said to her ‘He’s just too old for you’. And then next time they came to visit her husband stayed at home.”

M: Laughing loudly.

G: “But I really didn’t mean it, you know. I feel so bad.” --except Gram has the biggest sh*t eating grin you ever saw and the both of us crack up laughing till she all about falls over.

Yeah, sure you didn’t, Gram!

Then there was the time she kicked my husband in the butt. Literally, and goes, “Cut your hair!” Then she grinned while he rubbed it. (She is very tiny, but strong!)

And when Emile and I had first met and we were hanging out at the house, she went into the kitchen and brought him a plate of cut up cheese and crackers to munch on while we were laying on the carpet watching tv. Gram never did anything like that for anyone before, the rest of the family just sat around in stunned silence. Needless to say, not a single person in the family ever said anything about Emile’s and my match, no matter they are a bunch of, well, lets just say ‘Caucasian country, of the type with small world views’ and leave it at that. Only one in the whole lot who understands me is my Gram.

Beyond that, her Root Chakra, though bright red is very small. Just about at end of this life’s physical body time.

In opposition, her Crown Chakra is large, bright and full of the violet energies which surrounds most of her aura. She is more in her spiritual body now. Not quite yet ready to leave us, yet it will be a simple step when she decides to.

Left Side of the aura shows she receives things through use of her spirit.

Right Side, the way people see her, she projects the blue of empathy and emotional understanding.

Bright light blues around her head feet, she brings that higher realm energy down to earth.

People can learn a lot from my Gram, just being around her is something very special.

Hi Melissa! First off, I am very pleased to be listed on your friends list and I will be doing the same, if that's cool. Without elaborating, we have many of the same interests. Surprisingly enough, my journey began about 4 years ago and my intent was to learn all I could about astral projection. At the time, I thought that this would somehow make me into a unique person...none of my small circle of friends here ever experienced that. I began to learn about chakras and then gradually how they work and I can say with all honesty, the direction of my life was changed. I realize now that this was all part of the plan devised by my guides to aim me in a specific direction and I have not had more joy in my life ever before. The other side, of which you are obviously aware, is along with the joy comes some very real lessons that are less than pleasant. Your journal is excellent and I will be adding to my faves...I see that two of my friends have already been by, Sparkle and Lady Wolfen Mists. You've got some great links that will no doubt hold my attention for quite some time...lol. Your aura video system sounds fantastic and very intriguing and the results even moreso. I will end by saying that I have used a LOT of writing by Doreen Virtue as a guide, mainly her info on Crystal and Indigo children and adults. And Enya? She has been a constant companion during several writing sessions...it is quite magickal to feel her creativity flow around me, as you are aware. Sorry for the double post here, Melissa, but I needed to comment on one aspect that you mentioned about "caucasian types with small world views"...A number of years ago, I was living with a woman who was Jamaican by descent...I am like eastern European white and we made quite a contrast. She had a mother and two sisters that treated me like part of the family, including her two nieces and nephew. After a day at Gramma's, we had taken them home on the bus. OMG, the looks we got!!! At one point, one of her nieces crawled into my lap and some of the people were looking at the whole scene like they'd just stepped into doggie doodoo. The climax was shortly before our stop, when we smiled at each other(my girlfriend and I)and leaned over and had a long, slow kiss...It was hilarious!!! If some of those people had guns thay looked like they would have shot us!! It is difficult for me sometimes to realize that we are all on our own spiritual journey and at differnet points in our development. It's sad to have that prejudice attitude because it severely limits a person in truly enjoying life, as you already are aware. Anyway, I just felt the urge to share this with you, for what it's worth. Have a great weekend.

Nick, your sharing is wonderful. Could tell you some stories when me and my significant other drove from CT to Florida one time. Guy in a dinner about had a fit when he saw us together. Turned red as a beet!
Ah well, can only be ourselves, right? Only thing we can do to improve the world, to Be is only way to 'teach' if such is possible. Who knows, osmosis, yes?
